a list of jewelry suppliers that i like. i get quite a lot of my supplies from these people, and rather than trying to bookmark them all (my bookmarks are overflowing as is), i thought that perhaps others might like to see the businesses i frequent when buying supplies for my creations. can we call this business transparancy? probably, but that seems really high-falutin' for me, so we'll just say that i'm putting it here because these businesses are awesome, and i thought people might like to see them. this will be a bit long. so i'm putting it in a table, as that makes it easier. it may take a bit to load. sorry. ^^; and there we are! my favs from etsy! now, if anyone knows if these sellers have non-etsy sites*, i would LOVE it. i used to have a shop on etsy, but i'd like to get away from them, as they're getting worse and worse in my eyes, so if you know where to find these sellers elsewhere, please comment and say so! i'd LOVE to find them. thanks so much! ~yobo *artful market is already independent, just fyi.

have you heard of it? it's this really cool place where anyone can come and relax for a while, make some friends, and talk about nearly anything. the admins are a really great couple of people, and the mods are cool too (though, i'm one, so i might be biased.). it's the board formerly known as UEF (unofficial etsy forums), but due to some crazy and unforseen circumstances, we've had to move, and we decided that our name should include as many people as possible, not just etsy refugees. to that end, i give you, The Creative Breakroom! go visit, sign up, lurk and post!
we'd love to have you. i promise, we only bite if you ask. :P ciao! ~yobo yay! new start!
for those who don't know, this is yobo from jewelry :ninja!, and this is the blog for my business restart. i started out looking for a name that would allow me to still use my beloved blue lotus (viewable on nearly everything that had the jewelry :ninja! name), but in the end, i was inspired by my twitter background and, since the flowers i'm using there look like impatiens, i decided that, since i love that particular kind of flower anyway, i should use them as my business name. the orange in the flower is because i really do love orange quite a lot, and impatiens often come in that shade, and the leaves are similarly-colored to the greens. i've yet to decide on how my jewelry will be hosted. it will either be a severely modded blogger (like shop.theplushiefoundry.com), or i will put it on storenvy.com, which is currently hosting my some of my jewelry under jewelryninja.storenvy.com . if you'd like to make my life a lot easier and reduce what i have to inventory for this changeover, you can go to EITHER j:n's etsy store or the storenvy and use the code "return30" for 30% off your total order. thanks! ~yobo |
